Marissa and Duc met upstairs for the first look after getting ready all morning. Once side by side, Duc turned to Marissa and saw his beautiful bride for the first time that day. The two showered each other in compliments and soaked in the moment alone. After portraits were taken, the bridesmaids dressed in green, and groomsmen dressed in black joined the bride and groom for group photos. Together, the group smiled for the camera creating lasting memories, then lined up for the ceremony.
Greenery crawled up the sides of the center Palladian window inside the Crystal Ballroom and white flowers decorated the base. Guests entered the room and sat on either side of the aisle awaiting the bride and groom. Once everyone had arrived, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Marissa. In front of all their family and friends, Duc and Marissa recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
As a special treat for guests during cocktail hour, the newlyweds ordered our Street Taco Station with Pollo Asado and Al Pastor Tacos, and it was a hit! While guests mixed and mingled, Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed and the bar was serving beer and wine. The bride and groom snuck away during cocktail hour for newlywed photos just across the street. After photos together, the couple returned just in time for reception.
Back in the Crystal Ballroom, tables were topped with white and green floral centerpieces, candles, and name cards. Guests found their assigned seats and cheered when Marissa and Duc made their grand entrance. A dinner of Zucchini Lime Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Green Beans, and Pear and Walnut Salad was served just in time for toasts. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Sierra. Glasses clinked in the air after each speech, then it was time to cut the cake. Duc and Marissa shared a piece of their chocolate cake with vanilla Bavarian filling and classic buttercream icing and invited their guests to indulge in a slice for dessert. The remainder of the evening was spent out on the dance floor dancing and celebrating with loved ones.
