After reciting their vows and tying the knot at a nearby church, Garrett and Taylor headed over to The Estate on Second for their wedding reception. Guests were the first to arrive to the beautiful Georgian Colonial venue and headed upstairs for cocktail hour. Swanky music set the tone while Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms were being tray passed and bartenders mixed, stirred, and shook beverages of the guests’ choosing. The bride and groom’s signature cocktails, the Moscow Mule and Old Fashioned, were a popular choice of bar-goers as they snacked on hors d’oeuvres and engaged in friendly conversation before dinner. Garrett, Taylor, and the bridal party were the last ones to arrive. The group paraded around The Estate taking photos together before heading inside just in time for the dinner reception.
The Crystal Ballroom was decorated in magenta uplighting and gold accents. Each table was draped in ivory linen and had light pink and maroon floral centerpieces sprouting up from gold vases. The sweetheart table had the largest floral centerpiece of the evening and a greenery arch adhered to the curtains behind. Geometric gold chargers, gold flatware, and peach goblets marked each place setting. Guests found their table assignments on an ornate, gold framed mirror, and took their seats awaiting the bride and groom. Each bridesmaid and groomsmen made their entrance into the ballroom, and lastly, Garrett and Taylor. The newlyweds smiled and cheered their way into their first dance. Everyone gathered around the dance floor and watched as the bride and groom swayed side to side to their song. After, everyone was seated and toasts were shared before tables were excused to the buffet. A dinner of Filet Mignon Carvery, Santorini Chicken, Caesar Salad, Penne Alla Checca, Mashed Potatoes, and Fresh Vegetable Medley was served and enjoyed by guests. Garrett and Taylor took a moment to themselves while everyone was finishing dinner to cut their wedding cake together. The two then thanked all their guests for coming and spending the evening with them and invited everyone to indulge in the Italian Dessert Station. An assortment of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes satisfied many sweet tooths and provided a sugar rush just in time for dancing. The DJ pumped up the jams and had every guest out on the dance floor. Between the dancing and posing for photos at the photo booth, late night snacks were a must. Grilled Chicken, Goat Cheese, Arugula and Pesto Flatbread and Mozzarella Flatbread were available to hungry guests who had danced up an appetite. The evening concluded by sending off the bride and groom in an uproar of cheering.
