Angele and Jeffrey Black had a blast on their wedding day at The Estate on Second on July 16, 2016! The couple wanted to keep it entertaining and lively with a dash of romance. Their wedding coordinator, Annika Romo, helped them achieve this. From the dazzling floral arrangements to the fun games throughout the night, the Blacks made sure to have the time of their lives!
The beautiful bride Angele started her day getting ready with her bridesmaids in our Bridal Suite. The groom and his groomsmen got ready upstairs in The Attic. Lanterns, candles and gorgeous florals draped the runway. The ceremony was held in the grand Crystal Ballroom in front of all of their loving family and friends.
After the ceremony, guests were invited into The Attic for hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Jay’s Catering Event Specialist, Casey Golding, helped the bride and groom choose their menu for the night as well as their set up at The Estate. For small bites we served Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Mini Franks and Buffalo Chicken Wings with a Bleu Cheese Dip! (Yes… that tastes as amazing as it sounds!)
For dinner the newlyweds chose Jay’s all time favorite, the All-American Station which includes Smoked Beef Brisket and St. Louis Pork Ribs! On the side, we served a light Mint Fruit Salad and Creamed Corn. But, that’s not all! The guests also got to DIY their Panko Crusted Three-Cheese Mac and Cheese with a wide array of delicious toppings like Applewood Smoked Bacon, Sliced Mushrooms, Italian Sausage, Crunchy Onions and Sundried Tomatoes.
At the All American Dessert Station we served up a collection of S’more Pops, Fresh Fruit Crostatas, Old Fashioned Cookies, Rice Krispy Treat Pops and Mini Rocky Road Cupcakes.
We want to give a special thanks to the wedding videographer Theater 10 Wedding Films, and to Waveform Events for their DJing and lighting at the wedding and lastly to wedding photographer Alyssa Armstrong for these amazing photos of the day!
